Basketball Game Preview: School of the Future vs. Roosevelt

School of the Future hasn't had much luck against Roosevelt recently, but that could start to change on Monday. School of the Future will head out on the road to challenge Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Thursday, School of the Future sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 win over Fashion Industries.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt beat West End 55-43 on Tuesday. Given Roosevelt's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while West End is ranked 333rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

School of the Future's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

School of the Future was taken down by Roosevelt 55-24 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can School of the Future avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
