Soccer Game Preview: Anderson County vs. Union County

The Anderson County Mavericks will challenge the Union County Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Anderson County has given up an average of 4.6 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Anderson County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Union County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Anderson County's way against Union County in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Anderson County made off with a 5-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
