Heritage has gone 7-2 against Jay County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. While Heritage's win against Garrett wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Railroaders on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Railroaders: they've now won three in a row.

Danica Fuller was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lucy Buuck, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Abriyah James, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Jay County entered their tilt with Southern Wells on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 18-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won ten games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Jay County got a massive performance out of Hallie Schwieterman, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave Schwieterman a new career-high. Jaelynn Lykins was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double.

Jay County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive matchups.

Heritage's record now sits at 13-6. As for Jay County, their record is now 15-2.
