 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Lucy Buuck, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run and two  runs. That  home run marked the first that  she has  launched this season. Another player making a difference was  Abriyah James, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
Meanwhile, Jay County entered their tilt with Southern Wells on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp  18-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won ten games by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
Jay County got a  massive  performance out of  Hallie Schwieterman, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  hits gave  Schwieterman a new career-high.  Jaelynn Lykins was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and one  double.
 Jay County  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in four consecutive  matchups.
