Basketball Recap: Christian Fellowship vs. Sunnydale Academy
Christian Fellowship gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past Sunnydale Academy 55-15. With Christian Fellowship ahead 35-3 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Christian Fellowship got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooke Grathwohl out in front who earned 12 points plus four steals. Grathwohl is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season. Ariya Barton was another key player, posting nine points plus six steals.
Christian Fellowship will square off against Lighthouse Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sunnydale Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Christian Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on January 27, 2025.
