Meanwhile, Las Vegas faced Bishop Gorman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Gaels 2-1. Surprisingly, this marked Las Vegas' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Anthony Cardenas was the driving force of Las Vegas' attack as he scored both of Las Vegas' goals, bringing his season total up to 15 goals.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Las Vegas, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-2.
