Baseball Recap: Woodlawn Victorious

Woodlawn came out on top against Owings Mills on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run fourth inning. The Warriors walked away with a 15-12 victory over the Golden Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-2 last Friday.

Jacob Howard was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played. Jayden Johnson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Woodlawn's win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Owings Mills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Woodlawn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Owings Mills, they will face off against New Town at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Owings Mills will need to watch out since New Town has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
