Basketball Recap: Wasatch Comes Up Short

Wasatch lost against Orem back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wasatch Wasps were dealt a 72-43 defeat at the hands of the Orem Tigers. The game marked the Wasps' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Wasatch and nudges their season record down to 7-8. As for Orem, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Wasatch will host Cedar Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season. As for Orem, they will head out to take on Timpview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Timpview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Orem likes a good challenge.
