Soccer Game Preview: Hudson vs. Twinsburg

Hudson is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Twinsburg is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Explorers will host the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hudson knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Twinsburg likes a good challenge.

Hudson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Mayfield get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Hudson's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last eight contests.

Meanwhile, Twinsburg won against North Ridgeville on Saturday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Olmsted Falls. That's two games straight that Twinsburg have won by just one goal.

Hudson's win bumped their record up to 17-0-1. As for Twinsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1-2.

Hudson was able to grind out a solid win over Twinsburg in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. Do the Explorers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
