Boone had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Boone, who have now won six contests by eight goals or more so far this season.

Boone pushed their record up to 6-5-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those four games. As for Glidden-Ralston, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
