Basketball Recap: North Marion Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sweet Home last Tuesday, North Marion came back down to earth. The North Marion Huskies took a hard 77-60 fall against the Cascade Cougars on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Cougars are ranked 12th).

North Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Cascade, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Coming up, North Marion will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stayton at 5:30 p.m. As for Cascade, they will square off against Sweet Home at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
