Pacelli has gone a perfect 10-0 against Tri-County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cardinals will square off against the Penguins at 4:30 p.m. Pacelli's pitching crew has only allowed 0.7 runs per game this season, so Tri-County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Pacelli is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: D.C. Everest, who was ranked third at the time (Pacelli was ranked eighth). The Cardinals fell just short of the Evergreens by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The loss was the Cardinals' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Tri-County came up short against Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran on Friday and fell 6-2.

Tri-County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Garcia is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Tri-County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Pacelli fell to 22-1.

Pacelli took their win against Tri-County in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
