Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Thomas Worthington

It's playoff time, and Thomas Worthington had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Middletown Middies on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the CARDINALS sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Drew Barnes was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had nine digs and two assists.

Thomas Worthington was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Thomas Worthington's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.

Looking ahead, Thomas Worthington will take on Fairmont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Firebirds will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the CARDINALS surely won't give up without a fight. Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
