Cooter had to endure a nine-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hayti Indians on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since October 25, 2024.

Cooter was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 20-25, 18-25, 25-13, 15-13.

Caroline Sullivan paced Cooter's offense, picking up 15 kills. Sullivan got some help from Jozi Johnson and her 20 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 19 aces.

Cooter's victory bumped their record up to 2-12. As for Hayti, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Cooter has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Charleston on the 6th. Hayti has also already played their next match (against Senath-Hornersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
