Football Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Upper Perkiomen

Upper Perkiomen proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 36) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 22-19 win over the Phoenixville Phantoms. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 31-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Upper Perkiomen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zach Adam led the charge by rushing for 111 yards and one TD on only 15 carries, while also catching one score. Grayson Sabo was another key signal caller, throwing for 151 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

Although Phoenixville took the loss, they still got scores from Patrick Carey and Zakaa Cooper.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Upper Perkiomen, bringing their record up to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.5 points over those games. As for Phoenixville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
