After losing to Helena the last time they met, Benjamin Russell decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 28-10 victory over the Huskies on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Kingston Preyear continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 93 yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 61 yards. Josh Harriell helped out on the ground, rushing for 96 yards.

Benjamin Russell didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Lajayvious Calhoun led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Another thorn in Helena's side was Kenderious Byrd, who made 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Benjamin Russell's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Helena, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, Benjamin Russell and Helena will both be playing Pelham the next time they take the field. The Huskies will head out to face the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
