Basketball Recap: Ian Jones Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Queens Teaching

The Robeson Business Tech Eagles had just enough and edged out the Queens Teaching Tigers 52-50 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Robeson Business Tech got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ian Jones out in front who posted seven points along with 14 boards and three blocks. Devaughn Studdard-Caine was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight rebounds.

Robeson Business Tech's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Robeson Business Tech and Queens Teaching will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles are set to challenge their familiar foe Bedford Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Queens Teaching will square off against rival Francis Lewis at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
