Southwest Christian won the last time they faced Holy Family Catholic and Anna Brunsberg did her part to make sure it happened again. The Stars came out on top against the Fire by a score of 3-1 on Thursday for which the team can thank Brunsberg, who had 18 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last five times she's played.

The victory didn't come easy: Holy Family Catholic scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 17-25, 25-20.

The win snapped Southwest Christian's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-9 record. As for Holy Family Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Southwest Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Annandale on the 10th. As for Holy Family Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against St. Cloud Cathedral on the 11th.
