Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Trojans vs. Brookside Cardinals

The Trinity Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Brookside Cardinals at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Trinity came up short against Fairview on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Brookside lost 3-0 to Firelands on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-10.

Brookside's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

Trinity beat Brookside 3-1 in their previous matchup back in August of 2016. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
