Softball Recap: Polk County Takes a Loss

Polk County managed to slip by East Rutherford the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines lost 12-0 to the Cavaliers on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wolverines were not able to get on the board.

Polk County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for East Rutherford, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cavaliers beat Polk County by a score of 11-2 on Thursday.
