Basketball Recap: J.Z. George Takes a Loss

J.Z. George was the 38-36 winner over Union when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The J.Z. George Jaguars fell 47-37 to the Union Yellowjackets on Thursday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Union had a senior duo take command as Rymia Craft went 9 of 16 on her way to 20 points in addition to six boards and five assists and Gracyn Tillman posted 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Craft has scored at least a third of Union's points. Another player making a difference was Kasten Anderson, who put up seven points.

J.Z. George's record is now 6-17. As for Union, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season.

As of now, neither J.Z. George nor Union have any future games scheduled.
