Recap: Sumner Spartans vs. Rogers Rams
The Sumner Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 79-51 victory over Rogers. The victory was nothing new for Sumner as they're now sitting on three straight.
Rogers lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Treyshawn Weatherspoon, who scored ten points along with four steals. Dylan Gilderhus was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Sumner's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Rogers, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-12.
Sumner will challenge the Bears at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Olympia has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 439 points over their last seven contests. As for Rogers, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Lions at 7:00 p.m.
