Softball Recap: Canyon Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Canyon's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Pacifica Mariners on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mariners this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-0 loss back in March.

Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Pacifica, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Canyon will challenge El Modena at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Vanguards will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Comanches surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pacifica, they will face off against Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Mariners are facing the Aztecs at the right time seeing as the Aztecs are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
