Baseball Game Preview: Mishawaka Marian Knights vs. South Bend Adams Eagles

For the second straight game, Mishawaka Marian will face off against South Bend Adams. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Mishawaka Marian earned an 8-4 victory over South Bend Adams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Mishawaka Marian got a great performance from Cade Briones as he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, Ryne O'Hara was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Cayden Bennett was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Mishawaka Marian hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive matches dating back to last season.
