Volleyball Recap: Argo Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Argo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bremen Braves by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Argonauts in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won five in a row.

Argo easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20.

Christian Zubek paced Argo's offense, picking up five kills. Zubek got some help from Alexander Jakowicki and his ten assists.

Argo pushed their record up to 20-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Bremen, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Looking ahead, Argo will face off against Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Argonauts are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Bremen, they will square off against Shepard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
