Softball Recap: Bloomington South Has No Trouble Against Shakamak

Bloomington South had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Shakamak on Saturday. The Panthers blew past the Lakers 16-4. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won four in a row.

Bloomington South got a massive performance out of Bella Simmons, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Purtlebaugh, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
