Basketball Game Preview: Wood River Wolverines vs. Teton Timberwolves

After both having extra time off, the Wood River Wolverines and the Teton Timberwolves will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wood River is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Wood River lost to Buhl at home by a 51-34 margin. The match marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Wood River saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Max Fife posted 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for Fife. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Schubert, who earned seven points.

Meanwhile, Teton didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Jackson Hole last Saturday, but they still walked away with a 48-43 victory.

Wood River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Teton, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
