Basketball Recap: London Makes It Nine in a Row on the Road

London extended their road winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ac Carpentier. The London Pirates walked away with a 60-49 win over the Mathis Pirates on Friday thanks in part to Carpentier, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Another player making a difference was Jackson Newton, who posted 11 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

London is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Mathis, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-8.

London and Cedar Creek will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Cedar Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.4 points per game this season. As for Mathis, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Oso at 2:45 p.m. on December 31st.
