            Baseball Recap: Tularosa Wildcats vs. New Mexico Military Institute Colts        
        
		
        
        
            If Tularosa was feeling good  fresh off their  18-8 takedown of Texico on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell  11-8 to the New Mexico Military Institute Colts on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Colts recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
 Tularosa saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cameron Holguin, who  went 1-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI.
Tularosa's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for New Mexico Military Institute, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record  this season.
 Tularosa will challenge Hot Springs at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.95  runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for New Mexico Military Institute, they will take on Ruidoso at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
