Basketball Recap: Southern Lab Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Southern Lab entered their matchup against Dunham on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Southern Lab Kittens fell just short of the Dunham Tigers by a score of 62-59. The Kittens were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Southern Lab's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-5. As for Dunham, they pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Southern Lab will take on Destrehan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Destrehan will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Southern Lab surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dunham, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Archbishop Rummel at 6:00 p.m. Archbishop Rummel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.
