The Rome Free Academy Black Knights will take on the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rome Free Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last six games.

Rome Free Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Whitesboro 84-39. The Black Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 25 points or more this season.

Rome Free Academy found their leader in freshman Taniyah Outten, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Outten has scored all season. Isabella Cunningham was another key player, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards.

Rome Free Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 13 consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Christian Brothers Academy came up short against Indian River on Saturday and fell 37-27. The Brothers have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Rome Free Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Christian Brothers Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
