Soccer Game Preview: Worthington Christian vs. Hayes

The Worthington Christian Warriors will challenge the Hayes Pacers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.

Worthington Christian is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Big Walnut just ended the team's ten-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Hayes had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Westland on Thursday as they made off with a 5-2 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

Hayes' victory bumped their record up to 6-8-1. As for Worthington Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3-1.

Worthington Christian beat Hayes by a goal when the teams last played back in October of 2018, winning 1-0. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Pacers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
