Baseball Game Preview: Shawnee Mission North Bison vs. Shawnee Mission South Raiders

An exciting North v. South battle is about to be fought. The Shawnee Mission North Bison will be playing at home against the Shawnee Mission South Raiders on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Thursday, Shawnee Mission North didn't have quite enough to beat Shawnee Mission West and fell 3-2. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Shawnee Mission South was forced to settle for a tie on Friday. Neither they nor St. James Academy could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 tie.

With that tie, Shawnee Mission South's record moves to 8-8-3. As for Shawnee Mission North, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
