Soccer Recap: Ogden Beats Grantsville for Their 13th Straight Victory

Ogden had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Grantsville Cowboys on Thursday as they made off with a 7-1 victory. Considering Ogden have won 11 matchups by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Grantsville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Elle Weston led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win was the 13th in a row for Ogden, bringing their record up to 16-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 78 goals over those 13 matches. As for Grantsville, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-7.
