Football Recap: Upper Sandusky Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Upper Sandusky unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. The contest between the Rams and the Northmor Golden Knights didn't end well, with the Rams falling 16-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Golden Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Northmor's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Conner Stockdale, who picked up 82 receiving yards and two scores.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upper Sandusky will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Northmor, they will challenge Seneca East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
