After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sandy Creek, Jonesboro was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the McDonough Warhawks 12-11. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Warhawks: they've now won three in a row.

Zorah Jenkins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and five unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks.
