Soccer Game Preview: Kenai Central vs. Ketchikan

The Kenai Central Kardinals will take on the Ketchikan Kings in a tournament on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Kenai Central's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Kodiak 3-0. That three goal margin sets a new team best for Kenai Central this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Ketchikan made sure to put some goals up on the board against Grace Christian on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Grizzlies. Ketchikan haven't had any issues with Grace Christian recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Ketchikan's offense was hitting Grace Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kelvin Jiang led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Ketchikan's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Kenai Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.
