Immaculata-La Salle came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Coral Park Rams 9-2. The Royal Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Derrick Paz was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Paz was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Jason Amor and Jeremy Fornos did most of the damage at the plate: Amor scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Fornos scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. That's the most runs Fornos has posted since back in February. Daniel Gonzalez was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Immaculata-La Salle's record is now 13-4. As for Coral Park, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Immaculata-La Salle will venture away from home to face off against Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Coral Park, they will head out to challenge Miami Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
