Basketball Recap: Arcanum Piles Up the Points Against Dayton Christian

There's no place like home for Arcanum, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They really took it to the Dayton Christian WARRIORS for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-22 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-14.

Caroline Long continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7-for-13 on her way to 16 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexy Gibbons, who posted ten points.

Arcanum was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Arcanum pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. As for Dayton Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Coming up, Arcanum will take on Houston in a tournament on Tuesday. Dayton Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
