Basketball Recap: Pontotoc Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Pontotoc, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Clarksdale Wildcats 67-65. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 54-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Clarksdale lost on Tuesday, don't look at Kamarrius Rash. Despite the final result, he went 19 for 26 on his way to 42 points and five rebounds. That was a full 64.6% of Clarksdale's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Jurden, who put up seven points.
