Soccer Game Preview: Central Wise vs. Abingdon

Central Wise hasn't had much luck against Abingdon recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Central Wise will welcome Abingdon at 7:30 p.m. Central Wise has given up an average of 5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Central Wise is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Gate City on Friday. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 7-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Abingdon). They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over Lee on Friday. Mason Sollien was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Abingdon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Central Wise, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.
