Baseball Recap: Palmerton Takes a Loss

Palmerton lost against Salisbury Township back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Bombers took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

Jason Carrelli was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Palmerton now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Salisbury Township, their record now sits at 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmerton will square off against Wilson Area at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Salisbury Township, they will face off against Notre Dame-Green Pond at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
