Flag Football Recap: George Washington Takes a Loss + How To Watch

George Washington and Manual squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but George Washington had to settle for second. They came up short against the Thunderbolts, falling 32-6. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.

It was another big night for Caylei Walker, who rushed for 147 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 156 yards and three TDs for Manual. Those 156 passing yards gave Walker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dayjah Fox, who picked up 90 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

George Washington's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Manual, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

George Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manual, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 48-6 defeat against Pomona on the 18th.
