Basketball Recap: King's Christian Academy Lions vs. Faith Christian Warriors
King's Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 50-14 loss at the hands of the Faith Christian Warriors. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-8.
Leading Faith Christian to victory were Matthew Burton and John Whitmore. Burton went 7 for 17 en route to 18 points and six steals, while Whitmore almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Burton has scored at least a third of Faith Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Ridge, who posted six points and three steals.
