Volleyball Game Preview: Holy Name Green Wave vs. Struthers Wildcats

The Holy Name Green Wave will be taking part in a tournament against the Struthers Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Holy Name came up short against Padua Franciscan on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Green Wave have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Struthers duked it out with Howland on Monday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-11.

Holy Name's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Struthers, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
