Meridian has been away from home for two games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will host the Skyline Hawks at 7:00 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Meridian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Manassas Park 41-0 on the road. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Skyline entered their tilt with Liberty on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Eagles, posting a 42-6 victory on the road. Isiah Maxwell was a one-man wrecking crew for Skyline as he picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Maxwell was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 50 yards. Brandon Baldwin got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meridian's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Skyline, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
