Volleyball Recap: Ola Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Ola won the last time they faced Luella, and Lily Powell did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lions on Tuesday thanks in part to Powell, who had seven aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Ola not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Luella between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15.

Ola pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Luella, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Ola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Dutchtown on the 19th. As for Luella, they will host Rockdale County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
