Basketball Recap: Pacific Ridge Makes It 15 in a Row at Home

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pacific Ridge walked away with it. They managed a 64-58 victory over the Santana Sultans on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Firebirds, who have now won three matches in a row.

Pacific Ridge's victory was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points over those games. As for Santana, their loss dropped their record down to 14-14.

Coming up, Pacific Ridge will square off against O'Farrell Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pacific Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully O'Farrell Charter likes a good challenge. Santana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
