Soccer Recap: Valley Lutheran Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Valley Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Freeland Falcons. If Valley Lutheran were looking for revenge after losing 6-4 to Freeland when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valley Lutheran now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Freeland, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Coming up, Valley Lutheran will challenge Fairview on Wednesday. Valley Lutheran will be up against Fairview's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.33 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Freeland, they will square off against Dow at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
