After a string of four wins, Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates. The Lancers lost against the Pirates in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 67-28 score last time.

Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Cochrane-Fountain City, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
