Softball Preview: Holmes Huskies vs. Sotomayor WILDCATS
The Holmes Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Sotomayor WILDCATS at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holmes has given up an average of 11.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Avery Martinez was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Sandera, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Sotomayor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marshall only posted an OBP of .368.
Holmes' loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Sotomayor, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-1.
